This 75-hour non-credit training program consists of a combination of classroom instruction, lab instruction, and hands-on clinical practice. This training is appropriate for those who do not need college credit (a record of course completion on his/her official college transcript).
Each instructional cycle allows time for intensive and individualized instruction. The course is delivered in a 10-day face-to-face setting in which full attendance is required to complete the program (see sample course syllabus for a detailed schedule). Following course completion, students will be qualified to take the National Nurse Aid Assessment Program (NNAAP) examination consisting of both a written and skills test. After passing both portions of the NNAAP exam (state test), the student earns the title "Certified Nurse Assistant".
